Paul E. Kiebler, IV
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Since founding Pepper Pike Capital Partners and its predecessor APM Management in 2002, Mr. Kiebler has been directly involved in the planning, construction, lease-up, and management of more than 30,000 apartment homes throughout the eastern United States. Paul directs all facets of the organization and its 5,500+ apartment homes with a market value of over $500 million. Paul's passion for real estate began at a young age when he purchased, renovated and sold his first house at the age of 16. He progressed into investment real estate while assisting his father in the family’s appraisal business. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree
in Business Administration Real Estate and Urban Analysis.
Tom Lake, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Tom joined Pepper Pike Capital Partners in late 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. He has 16 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, starting his career at PwC where he audited large public and private real estate companies. In 2014, Tom joined Forest City as a Controller and during his time there he focused on multifamily and commercial real estate helping the company successfully execute a departmental reorganization, conversion to a REIT and several portfolio dispositions. Forest City was acquired by Brookfield Properties in 2019 and he was promoted to Vice President of Accounting for their Multifamily business unit. At Brookfield, Tom oversaw a team
of 25 individuals responsible for corporate accounting, as well as the accounting, accounts payable, and treasury functions for 80 properties consisting of more than 25k units. He led several large projects, including acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and the implementation of new accounting & procurement software. Tom is a graduate of Cleveland State University and holds his CPA license in Ohio. He currently lives in Strongsville with his wife and 4 daughters.
Director of Accounting
Steve graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and OSCPA member. Steve has worked with prominent property management firms in Northeast Ohio, both as a consultant and as a CFO. Prior to entering the property management field, his career history includes Director of Finance/Controller for Realty One Inc. and Controller
for National Medical Diagnostics, Inc. Steve also served as an Experienced Audit Senior for Arthur Anderson
Director of Revenue
Stephanie managerially directs property operations for all of Pepper Pike Capital Partners' residential communities. She has been active in property management for over 15 years. Her background encompasses
all phases of real estate management including marketing, market research, occupancy control, pricing, resident relations, positioning initiatives, reporting, staffing, property maintenance, and budgeting. Stephanie's area
of expertise is diverse, enabling her to quickly shift from devising strategic marketing plans and advertising campaigns, to overseeing PR activities, to solving difficult resident issues, hiring, training, and motivating team members. She has been successful in the leasing stabilization of high profile properties within her portfolio and the repositioning of existing sites. Her real estate experience includes supervision of conventional, affordable, commercial and new construction throughout the Midwest. She has also been the Chairperson of the Education Committee and is an Approved Instructor for the Certified Leasing Professional Classes. Stephanie earned
a BA in Communications from Bowling Green State University. Stephanie holds her Real Estate Sales License
from Hondros College in Cleveland, OH and is a Certified Ohio Real Estate Agent. She is a member of the
National Association of Realtors, and the Cleveland Area Board of Realtors.
Director of Finance & Acquisition
Jacob holds a B.S.B.A. degree from The Ohio State Universities' Fisher College of Business. He began his career with Wells Fargo's Commercial Real Estate group in Chicago, where he was exposed to a broad spectrum of deal
in various asset classes. From 2017 to 2020, he worked in both the Capital Markets & Acquisition departments at Lifestyle Communities, a Columbus Ohio based multi-family developer and owner. In his time at LC, Jake negotiated and closed over $300 Million in construction and stabilized debt on multi-family properties with national banks and federal agencies, managed investor relations with family office partners, coordinated the recapitalization of a 1,500 unit multi-family portfolio, spearheaded the acquisition of a 600-unit multi-family property, and served as the lead developer on large scale multi-family development projects in Columbus, Raleigh, and Charleston. Mr. Repasky joined Pepper Pike Capital Partners in 2021 and leads a team responsible
for the acquisition and disposition efforts.
Director of Pre-Development, Construction
Jon has longterm experience in project management roles for regional institutions and Pepper Pike Property Management. While in these roles, he has overseen land surveying and civil engineering, repositioning troubled assets, new construction project management, and multi-family renovation. His major achievements include repositioning $65 Million in troubled assets and completing $43 Million of new construction projects all faces various challenges. Throughout his breadth of experiences, Jon has become skilled in managing processes including, but not limited to entitlement, physical due diligence, design, and plan implementation. These past experiences include navigation markets in more than 10 states and project types ranging from mixed-sue new construction to multi-family renovation.
Chief People & Culture Officer
Chase joined the Pepper Pike home office as the new Chief People & Culture Officer for the company in 2021.
He has almost 20 years of experience as a leader in Human Resources and Organizational Development in state government, higher education, and most recently in healthcare. He specializes in culture transformation, employee engagement, and organizational design and effectiveness. His responsibilities include overseeing the Human Resources division and being responsible for talent management and culture-shaping in order to help position the company for continued growth. Chase earned his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University (Ohio) and his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is a member of the Cleveland Society for Human
Resource Management (CSHRM) and the HR Leadership Group of Northeast Ohio. Chase and his wife Renee
reside in Brecksville, Ohio with their two daughters, Embry (age 10) and Laine (age 8).
Director of Human Resources
Zaki earned his Master's Degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources. He has worked in Human Resources in different industries including including: manufacturing, hospitality, and property management, as well as experience in the manufacturing, hospitality, and property management fields. His focus is in the Human Resources field also includes: application tracking systems, onboarding system implementations, benefits, employment law training, HRIS, legal, investigations, payroll, policy development, talent acquisition, unemployment handling and workers compensation. Outside of work, Zaki enjoys watching Pro Football,
playing Fantasy Football, traveling and outdoor activities. His favorite quote; "Just get it done."
Steven is a graduate of Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH where he earned his bachelor's in criminal justice while playing and coaching Football. He began his career working in the 3rd party executive recruiting space specializing
in filling director and above-level roles for his clients in the Real Estate and Construction industry. Steven made the switch into a corporate recruiting role for a global leader in the technology industry where he filled numerous roles for the companies' sales and marketing side. in February 2021, Steven returned to the Real Estate and Construction industry as a Corporate Recruiter for Pepper Pike Capital Partners. He is responsible for recruiting top talent for the corporate office and the properties under the Pepper Pike Property Management ownership. "Integrity is what you do when no one is looking."
Nick graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Accounting. Prior to joining Pepper Pike Capital Partners in November 2017, Nick spent 10 years working in the Commercial Group of Forest City Enterprises handling the accounting for a range of properties that included malls, offices, and apartments. His real estate accounting background stretches back over 20 years. Nick is an avid bowler with one perfect 300 game, enjoys golfing and rooting for the Cleveland Browns. As Controller of the Construction Department, it’s Nick’s job to ensure bank draws are submitted timely and to be responsive to vendors and the various banks, and ensure all business transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
